Cuisinart SG-10

In order to experience the flavors of freshly ground spices, ya gotta have a spice grinder.  Yet we know many of you out there don’t have such a device in your otherwise well tricked out kitchens.  Fear not, Spice Mogul to the rescue!

We are beginning to stock the shelves of our virtual store as we put the final touches on the spice blend packaging. One of the most important (critical?) items we will be offering is an electric spice grinder, and we have chosen a couple of great one to sell with our blends, one of which is the Cuisinart SG-10.  Cuisinart, in their usual way, went first class in creating this appliance, and they really nailed it.   The SG-10 is that rare breed of purpose built spice grinders that we like because of  its ability to grind different quantities, tackled even the hardest tuber or seed (see the post on turmeric!) as well as its ability to clean up easily between uses – you just detach the bowl and the blade and pop them in the dishwasher.    We super excited about pairing this really top drawer grinder with our Madras and Bangkok curry whole spice blends to keep up with some neat Christmas gift packages, so watch this  space.

The big order to Cuisinart went in this morning, so with any luck we should have them in a few weeks, just in time to ship for the holidays.  Almost ready to throw open the (virtual) store doors!
